I am an artist and illustrator who loves painting and creating unique pieces based on my love of color, design, interiors and mundane objects. I enjoy incorporating a sense of humor and lack of self-conscious seriousness to express myself in order to create both realist and more abstract works. I am more interested in arriving at the end of my artistic process with a work that engenders a great vibe or visual experience than the method, materials, or explanation of how I got there….

I am inspired by everything around me, my love for God, nature, books, travel, different cultures, interior magazines, design blogs, fashion and especially COLOR! My art experience includes: illustration for two major design/lifestyle books - “Whiskey in a Teacup” -Touchstone 2018 and “Elements of Style” - Simon & Schuster 2014. My work interests have run the gamut from designing china for the retail market, painting ceramics, watercolors, gouaches, collages, acrylics, to decorative painting and murals for a diverse client base. I started Annechovie in 2007 as a way to share my work. I create a wide variety of commissions for clients worldwide. My work is in private collections in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. My work was also featured on the set of a major movie.
